Twelve monkeys endured concurrent heart assaults when they were ‘scared to death’ by a thundering tiger, it has been claimed.

Local people were at first confused after the monkeys were found in a woods clearing in the Kotwali Mohammadi zone of north India.

Vets believed that the creatures were poisoned and postmortems were completed. But the tests apparently uncovered that the animals had all kicked the bucket from heart assaults.

Vets concluded that the only explanation was that the primates were scared to death by a big cat, mirror.co.uk states.

Villagers announced tigers are frequently in the area and were heard thundering at the season of the passings.
