Supporters of the former Georgian president and ex-Odessa Governor Mikheil Saakashvili setup a barricade in their tent camp near of Parliament building in Kiev, reports Kurir’s reporter from the scene.

The leader of the Movement of New Forces Party Mikheil Saakashvili has been detained in Kiev on the roof of a residential building housing his flat amid a raid by the SBU Security Service and the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine.

Saakashvili was given a notice of suspicion connecting with the financing of the anti-government rally and tent camp near of Ukrainian Parliament as local media reported.

In September, he entered Ukraine through the Polish border with the help of his supporters after Poroshenko stripped him of his Ukrainian citizenship while he was in the US, thus rendering him stateless.
